The whole trip was amazingly well organized. We had an absolutely unforgettable vacation in Iceland thanks to Nordic Visitor!!.

Thanks so much for all your hard work behind the scenes to make our vacation perfect. This was my 4th time in Iceland and by far the best. The self drive allowed me to see so much more of beautiful Iceland than just staying in Reykjavik and taking tours to other areas. Nordic Visitor made it so easy, having our itinerary ready, hotels booked, and tours made ahead of time.

The natural wonders of Iceland are fabulous, and the trip was very educational about the geologic forces shaping the country. We also enjoyed learning some of the history of Iceland, and interacting with people we met along the way. Our trip was too short, our next visit will be longer and at a less intensive pace. Booking with Nordic Visitor was the best choice made. Hilmar was very professional and knowledgeable.

We received a very nice Welcome Kit with a lot of very useful information and a map with the route highlighted and hotels listed. This was very useful for us on our journey through Iceland. Very pleasant dealing with Solveig. The agency does a great job planning every little detail and then some. The homemade ice creams and eateries like a barn restaurant were very good and thoroughly enjoyable.

We booked some extra activities like the blue lagoon, glacier boat tour and whale watching in Husavik. All of the reservations were in order and made it very trouble free and enjoyable. The N1 gas stations are very convenient throughout the island and not only provided clean rest rooms, but plenty of snacks and sandwiches were available all over the island.

Car reservations and quality of car provided was as reserved. Keep up the excellent work!!!!. The guesthouses were exceptional. When we told our friends and family that we were going to Iceland they said "why, what is there to see". Since we returned we have not stopped talking about our trip and showing photos of this incredibly beautiful country such a long way from Australia.

It is a great conversation starter. We had a wonderful time in Iceland and thought that the whole trip was organised very well indeed. The documentation supplied was excellent and we felt like we were travelling independently but with the full support of experienced local people.

Iceland was amazing and as you travel around the coast the scenery just seems to get better and better and we found our vocabulary constantly consisted of words like stunning, beautiful, fantastic and wow. Thank you for a superb trip. It was the most amazing trip we've ever had. Jelena at Nordic Visitor made it flawless and catered it to our likings.

It all started at the Airport where we were greeted by a very nice gentleman who had a sign with our names on it. He drove us to our hotel at Reykjavik, told us stories about Iceland and of course gave us our travelling package. A very nice blue bag, that we used through our trip to keep our maps and memories together, had a big map with our route and things to see highlighted, a beautiful book with all the places to see, tons of good information, itinerary with addresses and phone numbers for hotels and a telephone, that was very useful, when our car broke down away from the main road.

We were back on the road in less than two hours. Local mechanic was nice and we got to try some hot dogs at the local gas station, which you need to try, hot dogs are the best ever!. You also need to try Icelandic Burgers, they are great!. Buy them fresh almost at any gas station. Local meat soup, meat products and charr are great. Keep in mind that smoked means really smoked, almost like chewing on a burning stick. Everything worth a try though. Local milk products are flavorful and awesome!.

There are many things to see in Iceland and we wish we would spend more time there. We needed at least couple more days to really enjoy places that we loved. The scenery changes every 100 ft and all of it is beautiful. Iceland is very photogenic!.

Communication with him was very nice from very beginning till final e-mails before our arrival to Iceland. We would be very happy to have opportunity to use Nordic Visitors again in case of our travel to Scandinavia.

The driving tour was perfect for us. We had the security of your expertise and guidance, but we had all the freedom we wanted since we were driving ourselves. We were a bit apprehensive about driving in Iceland, but it turned out to be very easy and enjoyable. The scenery was awesome and the driving distances were very manageable. I'm glad we added extra time in Reykjavik. I would have enjoyed even more time there. All of your materials were well prepared and fun to read. The Iceland Road Guide is spectacular.

I am still reading it. Together with Alexandra at Nordic Visitor, we planned a 10-day trip around Iceland. From the very first contact, Alexandra was extremely helpful and creative in responding to our wishes. The entire (interactive) planning process ran very smoothly. All the information sent to us (by regular mail and email) before the start of the trip was very informative. From the moment we landed in Iceland, everything was again very well organized.

The Road Atlas that the company provides is a great asset. Hotels and guesthouses were of high quality and everywhere we went, the food was great. The pre-booked excursions were very well-organized too. In general, we noticed that Nordic Visitor has an excellent network of hotels and guesthouses, and of companies for local excursions (glacier hike, whale watching, where, by the way, we got a great show by one whale).

Thank you Alexandra and thank you Nordic Visitor. You are a great company to work with. Too bad Nordic Visitor has no control over the Icelandic weather. My husband and I traveled through Nordic Visitor for a full circle Iceland Activity Tour.

The tour guides in each city were charming and very knowledgeable. The accommodations were lovely and the included breakfasts at each hotel and on the ship were generous and delicious.

The trip was well organized and we had a fabulous time. Perfect planning, consultance, preparations and support by Nordic Visitor. All (from site to emails) is clear, to the point, practical and responsive.

Everything moved like clockwork although the rugged country and tricky weather are not easily manageable. Iceland has endless beauty to offer, Icelanders are few but friendly, sensible and thorough and so the outcome was a smooth and fantastic trip. Also, food throughout was excellent and little Reykjavik is as creatively trendy as any hype metropolis.

It was all very convenient, the service was always friendly, and I always had my questions answered. This was the best service I've ever experienced. Everyone was nice, everything was simple, and I had the best vacation of my life (despite the uncooperative weather).

Our trip was amazing. The hotels and day trips were all very good. Hilmar was brilliant before we flew out to Iceland. Always very quick to respond, friendly and very informative with any questions we had. Was so lovely to have a bottle of champagne and lovely chocolates waiting for us in our room when we arrived. It made the start to our honeymoon very special.

We even got to see the Northern Lights too on our second attempt. Superb holiday - thank you so much. We found the whole experience excellent. There was a lot of driving, yet stress free apart from a blizzard. Doing a circular tour of the country was so interesting, after the first day we thought it may be a case of "same as" but every day was different and enjoyable. We were lucky 3 nights with the "lights" and some beautiful sunny days wonderful sights and beautiful countryside.
