My daughter owns a spark. She just had the transmission replaced under factory warranty. The new transmission is acting up again. Is there an electronic issue causing this? Or is it A run of junk transmissions from Chevy.

The Kemso replacement pump is an inch longer. Unfortunately, everything is fitted together perfectly in the fuel pump assembly. I recommend skipping this modification unless absolutely necessary. It's in after a day of working on the car and dropping the tank three times.
Third time being a mile from home to finish the repair in a church back lot. The Kemso pump is actually really, really high flowing. So much, that it blew a hole in the side of the plastic flow tube when I made the mistake of removing the in tank fuel pressure release can.
I had no idea that existed until doing in depth research on different fuel pump assembly designs. Apparently the fuel return is not enough to handle this pumps pressure and sitting at a light idling. A concern for me is the transmission. This is the first vehicle we have owned that has a CVT transmission and I am somewhat aware of how they work, however I am not sure if the issue we are having is considered normal.
The car stop, goes, and drives fine. On occasion, when you step on the gas while you are cruising, it seems to "shudder". It feels like the transmission is slipping. It doesn't lose power or rev, it just shudders a bit like it is slipping and when it "catches" everything is fine and dandy.
Shudders for about 2 seconds, and occasionally. Not all the time. Anyone with experience with this, is it normal? I would like to be better informed should I bring it to the attention of the service department. Car is still under warranty so I am not in a panic, but my wife is going to be daily driving it for school and it has to be reliable. Posted July 27, Its the steel belt slipping. Make sure the recall was done on it to fix it but even after the fix it will still do it on occasion.
